GEORDIE TO BE NEXT THAI PM

For everything that can help us understand Thailand's "climate" like culture, customs, habits and beliefs of the native population of Siam. Anything else useful for travel and emigration to Thailand, immigration laws, visas etc. is welcome too.

Abhisit Vejjajiva, Leader of the Democratic Party was born in Newcastle upon Tyne. His parents were Medical Professor's, He went to Eton College at one stage and has a First Class honours degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics. He also has a Master degree in Economics from Oxford University. At the last election he promised an "Election for the People" and "Putting the People first with an emphasis on education".

He promised free health care, education, textbooks, milk and supplementary foods for nursery children and an increase in the minimum wage.

I shall be writing to him to offer this fellow Englishman
congratulations on his achievements so far and urging him to establish a Welfare State and practice Social Justice without corruption.

What would you like to add?

Better not ask too much of him at once. You know breaking down under the burden of too much or not knowing where to start is a good excuse for not doing anything at all. :P

Looks like the people didn't hear his promises. Samak just let Thaksin speak for him (on the VCD). Now he still keeps shut. Might say something wrong and upset the press again.
