Check out this if you don’t know what it is. It have saved me for buying many broken modem, and it’s nice to be able surf on internet ,listen to music, writing a document when electricity goes out for everybody else but not you.
I bay mine at the Mall. :idea:

That is just right! Around 19:00 h everybody plugs in theirs rice cookers. So around that time the chances that the voltage level drops below what your PC needs are very high. Most UPS (uninterrupted power supply) devices are also stabilizers that feed your PC if there's just not enough AC left.

I've had a 1000 VA device for about 5 years now. About every two years the batteries (sealed lead-acid) need replacement. I buy those at Amorn, the electronics shop on the left side (from street) of the first floor of IT Plaza (Nor'East City). An expert is not necessary for replacement, a screwdriver is sufficient. :)
